Indian Runner Ducks
Indian Runner Ducks are probably the most bizarre and comical domestic waterfowl. They are strangely upright when standing, and are very good at running (hence the name) but not very good at flying. Though streamlined in the water due to their length they seem to struggle to swim much more than other waterfowl. Though it is a rare occurunce for them to fly it is not impossible.
Indian Runners are often used with sheepdogs to be herded into a pen. They originated in Eastern Asia.

This mutation of the Indian Runner Duck is one that is coloured pretty much exactly like that of the wild mallard duck in both sexes. They are no different to the other Indian Runner Ducks, just a pretty mutation.
THERE WILL SOON BE SOME PICTURES OF INDIAN RUNNERS ON THIS PAGE.
